Colin Cowherd Had To Leave His Show On Monday

Everyone can relate to the feeling of being stuck at work when you’re trying to power through some sort of illness, whether it’s because you’re out of days off or you don’t want to create more work for yourself by taking time to recover.
Trying to be a hero and work through it is rarely worth it, but that’s exactly what FOX Sports host Colin Cowherd tried to do before he eventually gave in and walked off set.
During the first segment of “The Herd,” Cowherd abruptly paused a segment discussing the Luka Doncic trade to the Los Angeles Lakers.
“Folks, I’m going to take a break. I am getting very, very sick very, very quickly on this set, and we will return,” Cowherd said.

Cowherd didn’t return, though he did provide a brief update on X, and he appears to be just fine.
“Thank you for all the texts, calls, and concern. Sincerely touching. Rough hour but I’ll be fine. That damn Luka trade may have just overwhelmed me,” Cowherd wrote on X.

Cowherd didn’t look to be his usual spirited, sprightly self prior to leaving, and nobody could blame him for getting queasy while talking about that trade, which shocked the entire sports world and might be the most criticized deal in NBA history.
Co-host Jason McIntyre filled in for Cowherd, and there’s no word when Cowherd will be back.
The timing is poor, as the show is heading to New Orleans for Super Bowl LIX.
